A foreign client - the owner of a typical Vinohrady tenement house - wanted to build new attic flats in the unused attic and open a view to Prague Castle from the roof terrace. This idea implied other very significant construction measures in the basement where it was necessary to build a new parking area and driveway ramp in a rather complicated manner. The reconstruction in the attic is barely noticeable from the street, which was one of the requirements imposed by the monument protection society (considering the surrounding roofs were full of new rampant and ostentatious shapes added recently this was rather incomprehensible).
