Radotín Single-Family House
On the foundation of the original building, a new single-family house was built in 2009-2010. A highly sloped property and high radon contamination of the subsoil represented determining limits for an architectural and technical solution. A uniform colour scheme of various shades of grey was also respected when using sheet metal panels on the roof. Interior comfort is guaranteed by the internal air recuperation system (which was required for permanent ventilation as a result of possible radon occurrence). The house is clearly visible and recognisable from far above Radotín. A six-meter main window from the living room offers an extraordinary view of the Vltava and Berounka confluence and the dramatically shaped hilly background of Zbraslav. |
